Shattered

Monday, September 28th, 2009

My mother and my father were very much in love with each other. They would kiss whenever they though that nobody was looking. They never sleep in different beds for the last twenty years and more. They always hold hands whenever we are out for dinner or movies. My mother used to sit on the lap of my dad whenever they are in the porch. My two siblings and I who  all have a degree were very happy and we wish that the three of  us will find someone that will give us love the way our parents share right now. But one fateful day, the perfect family was shattered. We found out that my father has another woman and she was even three years  younger  than me.  And they have three children as well

New Love

When my wife died five years ago, I did not wish to get married again. Instead I  devoted all my attention to my daughter. I worked harder to forget the pain and to give my daughter a very comfortable lifestyle. I was doing well with my current situation until I found a woman that changed my life. She was a woman of substance and I could feel the connection between us. Whenever I am with her, I feel young  and indescribably happy. But how could I explain to my daughter that I was in love with her classmate? I find happiness with a woman  twenty years younger than me and the best friend of my daughter.

Immortal Love

We were about to get married last month. We have been together for seven wonderful years and we want to be married and be together for the rest of our lives. The wedding plan was set, the invitation was sent out. The church were the wedding will take place was reserved for that day, the reception was paid for in advance. On the night before the wedding, my man paid me a visit at home, making sure that I will be there on our wedding day. He kissed me tenderly saying it will be the last night that we will be girlfriend and boyfriend, the next day we will be called couple. I did not expect that it will certainly be the last night we will be called lovers, on his way home, he met a fatal car accident. A sleepy truck driver hit his car hard and my man was dead in seconds. The next day while he was in his coffin, the wedding pushed through.
